The Moon Looked Really Pretty When I Came Home

The moon was really bright with interesting cloud formations that looked like cotton balls. It's hard to get a clean shot in the city with the lights and the wires. I took what I could and then fiddled around with the results until I came up with a few interesting looking objects.

Wondering Around At 3 am

Taking some pictures. Drinking some coffee. Glad it's the weekend.

Saw some ladies of the night, a nightbird, some nice flowers (big bunch for 5 bucks at Trader Joe's), chocolate, the vase Rachel made.

Glad to be here.

Couldn't think of a name for this one...?
Shirley Surely
Why do you keep calling me Shirley?
I need to get a new TV.

Out For a Walk

I went for a stroll on this nice Sunday.

Not much going on...or a lot.

Mainly I saw a bright yellow bike rim in a vacant lot, a shiny CD laying in the road, and a shopping cart on it's side in the Safeway parking lot.

I played around with those images until I got tired.

I feel very fortunate to have known some good teachers in my life. They gave me the childlike curiousity to learn a little every day, appreciate the wonder all around us, and last but not least the ability to not take things too seriously. I can sit really still sometimes. Other times I just go in circles. I love to laugh, and try to make other people laugh. I ran out of room on the interest section but I also am interested in water, air, life, birds, flowers, animals, mountains, rivers --- everything.
